Recommended by Popeye, and directly from the blender, a healthy baby spinach and banana green smoothie.
Spinach is an excellent source of vitamins K, A, C, E, B2, B6, folate, manganese, magnesium, iron, copper, calcium, and potassium. It is also a very good source of dietary fibre, phosphorus, vitamin B1, zinc, protein and choline.
Serves 2 and is ready in 5 minutes.
- 2 cups of baby spinach, washed
- 1 banana ripe, peeled and sliced
- 1 cup of milk
- Ice cubes
Throw the baby spinach, banana, milk and ice cubes in the blender, and mix until smooth.
Serve in two glasses. Clean the blender straight away. Serve and drink!
