Today is 21st June, and summer has officially started. To celebrate, this week I will be posting three healthy, flexitarian recipes – a vegan salad, a tuna salad, and a vegan curry.

But in the meantime, here are the 5 most popular healthy, summery wholefood recipes of I try to eat healthy:

1. Green salad with pomegranate

While the pomegranate is no longer in season in the Northern Hemisphere, it is in the Southern one. So, this recipe is for the lovely people who have been reading I try to eat healthy in Australia, South Africa and Brazil (Thank you!). Read about the green salad with pomegranate recipe.

Mango is now back in season in Israel, and I am delighted about that. Here is the recipe for the mango and lemon fool.

4. Limonana

While lemon is available all year round – and so is the limonana, this refreshing drink is very much appreciated during the summer months when it is hot outside. Enjoy this limonana.

5. Five-spices chicken skewers

This tasty chicken skewers can be cooked on the grill. Find the recipe here. They are great with the green salad with pomegranate for a light lunch or dinner.
