


This is the recipe for the raw beetroot and apple juice, a healthy and yummy vegan juice!
The quantities here make about 2 large glasses.
Ingredients
- 1 raw beetroot, peeled and cut into quarters
- 1 apple, cut into quarters and seeds removed (no need to peel the apple)
- 1 piece of raw turmeric (about the size of the last section of the little finger), peeled and cut into chunks
- Half a small seedless cucumber, cut into chunks
- 3 cups of filtered water
Preparation
In the blender, add the beetroot, apple, turmeric, cucumber, and cover with 2 cups of filtered water. Blend until smooth.
Place a small colander with a handle above a measuring jug, and filter the juice. Press with a tablespoon to extract the most juice as possible, and discard the pulp. Divide the juice into two glasses, and top up with more filtered water (about ½ cup per glass). Drink immediately, or keep in the fridge and drink within the day.
